My artwork centers around the human form, striving to capture not only its physical likeness but also the emotions of the moment. Through rich textures and layered applications of paint, I invite viewers to not just “see” my work but to respond to its emotive qualities—subconsciously absorbing the energy and movement within each piece. Painting is my personal exploration of the visual world, a medium through which I reflect on moments of contemplation. I aim to create spaces where viewers can pause and engage in the opportunity for introspection, connecting with the universal human experience. The thick impasto of oil paint allows me to build layers that flow across the canvas, evoking a sense of energy and fluidity that mirrors the complexities of thought and feeling, a representation of my artistic choices but also the act of painting.
